Spring comes early as global temperatures rise. In Oregon we worry about the snowpack and the fire season. Out east it's wild flowers and the birds and bugs dependent on stability in that ecosystem. I was surprised to see the utility of data extracted from Thoreau's Journals for dating the arrival of wildflowers. All the more reason to save what we write. webpage
